We are now accepting the first three chapters of prospective manuscripts that are
already completed. Once accepted, we will request the full manuscript. We want it to
start at a minimum of 5,000 words for the vignette section and a maximum of
150,000 for books. We are requesting submissions pertaining to the genres of
science fiction, murder mysteries, and erotica.
Erotica submissions will be accepted at the same word length. There will be no
exceptions for erotica or all other genres in the respect that there will be none of the
following subject matter: necrophilia, pedophilia, and bestiality. We also do not want
gratuitous violence, although we will allow it if it works in with the story line.
All authors will be notified within six weeks of whether or not their work has been
accepted. Authors will be paid 40% quarterly at the beginning of the month. If at any
time you wish to know the status of sales of your work, you may email our editors at
admin@wyrickpress.com and address your subject as “Status of Sales.”
Also you may submit as many manuscripts that you wish to at a time. Our staff will
get back to you as soon as possible. In the event that we have an over abundance
of submissions, there may be some delay. In the event of this occurrence, we will
email you and notify you of this in advance.
We ask that you do the majority of editing to your work. Our editors will make minor
corrections and suggestions, but this is your manuscript and your responsibility.
Formatting Your Manuscript for Submission
- Double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt.
- Include the manuscript's title, your name, word length, and genre on the upper
left corner of the first page - Your document must be sent in Rich Text Format (file extension .rft) or Word
document (file extension .doc) - The subject of your email should contain your name and that of your
manuscript - Send the first three chapters of your formatted manuscipt to
admin@wyrickpress.com.
